When Star Trek the Next Generation came out, I originally boycotted it. Who could replace the glorious original Star Trek cast? However I started hearing some good things. Then a friend implored me to give it a try. Me and my bro checked it out. We were hooked.The writing continued to be good. And the characters were awesome. Like any other male, I had the hots for Deanna Troy. However I believe Lieutenant Commander Data was my favorite. How can you not love a robot who strived to be human?
My second favorite character was Warf. He struggled with being a Klingon in a human run ship. Now that's good stuff. He even got a hottie for a woman. You would think that you could never replace Spock. Warf was not a replacement. He was just another great character I could appreciate.
